Right from the opening minutes, the Riverkings set the tone, with Joel Texmo finding the net early, putting the Crush on the defensive. Cayden Sweitzer added to the lead, leaving the Crush trailing 2-0 after the first period. The second period proved equally challenging for the home team as Jake Bryceland extended the Riverkings' lead with two more goals.
