ADDISON, Ill.- The Chicago Crush Premier's faithful were in for a rollercoaster of emotions as their team squared off against crosstown rivals, the Chicago Cougars, in a weekend series that highlighted the heart and soul of this intense rivalry. Friday, January 05: A Valiant Effort Falls Short


Opening the series on the road at the Edge Ice Arena, the Crush gave it their all but faced a 5-3 defeat against the Cougars. Despite showcasing resilience and mounting a second-period comeback led by Nick Zehelein, Ryan Brown, and Spencer Kauke, penalties proved challenging. While the loss stung, the Crush knew they had the necessary grit

to bounce back.

Saturday, January 06: Redemption at the Addison Ice Arena


With a fiery determination, the Crush rebounded at home in the Addison Ice Arena, delivering a statement 5-2 victory over the the Chicago Cougars. From Jacob Rozanski's early goal setting the tempo to a cohesive team effort, the Crush's resolve was evident. Andrew Young's stellar goaltending, combined with standout performances from Spencer Kauke, Caden Day, and Sam Barnitz, showcased the Crush's depth and determination.

Sunday, January 07: Crush's Dominance Seals the Deal


In the series finale, the Crush left no doubt about their intentions, dominating the Cougars with a commanding 5-1 home victory at the Addison Ice Arena. Jason Castaneda's offensive brilliance, along with a team-wide commitment to excellence, propelled the Crush to a series-clinching win.
